Welcome back to our weekly Thirsty Brush Blog!
How is 2020 looking for you so far? I’m feeling a renewed creativity and am finding myself really embracing colour on a whole new level. Especially with these grey, wet and windy days. It’s so nice to get out the bright inks, papers and paints and just go wild with new combinations.
I have a project for you to try today which will allow you to achieve a really quick, simple but impactful card for when you are in a hurry. It also uses minimal supplies so you can whip it up in now time and can easily be adapted to papers and inks you have in your stash already.
Before we get onto that, I have some really exciting NEW designs to show on our weekly youtube show, Thirsty Thursday. Tune in tomorrow (16th Jan) at 3pm over on the Stamps By Me Youtube channel or you can find the link over on our facebook page. You can also catch me with some extra demos using this new collection on Tuesday 21st Jan at 3pm. Hope you can join in the fun!
Now, onto that card!! This design might just be some fussy cutting an inky background and a sentiment, but makes a big impression. It was inspired by a card I needed to send recently to someone who was really facing some tough challenges in their life:
Hope you enjoyed this, and I’ll catch you tomorrow at 3pm or on catch up if you can’t watch live
See you then!
