Welcome back to our weekly Thirsty Brush Blog!
What a fantastic start to the week I had, opening the new Workshop Studio here in Birmingham. It kicked off with a special free session on Monday afternoon and we had a blast. Lots of crafting, tea, biscuits and a lot of laughs. I was absolutely amazed that some travelled so far to join in. Truly, thankful to everyone for making it so special.
So, moving forward, every Monday will be a 2-4pm session of crafty fun. Very relaxed and freestyle. There are some more structured sessions on particular projects available to book too - like the Christmas Card making class which will be very festive and tonnes of fun.
If you are interested in any of the workshops, you can book HERE.
This weeks Thirsty Thursday Live show is going to be a little different. I will be doing the show live from my workshop studio! The Stamps by Me Studio is having a bit of work done to their equipment, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to show you my workshop and do some demos from there! Now I don’t have such an amazing technical TV set up as Toni has so you will have to bear with me, but it should still be lots of fun and some cool techniques to boot. It will be streamed on the Thirsty Brush Facebook page at 3pm 17th October (GMT).
For this weeks blog project, I’m featuring another design team make that gets tonnes of attention on our stand at craft shows. This card by Liane using alcohol inks, and I couldn’t believe how simple it is to achieve! Here’s what to do:
My aim for this for blog, is for it to be as interactive as possible. So, if there is a technique you would like to see or a Thirsty Brush design you would like me to feature, then get in touch! I’d love to help.
So what’s coming up next? Are you coming to Peterborough Crafting Live 18th-19th October or the Excalibur Fair at the Birmingham Motorcycle Museum 23rd November? We will be at both shows and this will be your last chance to see us this year at these Craft Shows.
