Welcome back to our weekly Thirsty Brush Blog!
Well, it's been a wet and miserable week weather wise for most of the UK, so I'm here to cheer you up with a fantastic birght floral mini book for our Kerry Gibson.
Kerry brought this fantastic mini book along to our craft stand last week at the Birmingham Motorcycle Museum. Both myself and all the crafters visiting us, were blown away by the beautiful combination of Kerry's watercolouring, choice of Thirsty Brush stamp designs, papers and of course the fantastic mini book design itself. I say mini book, it's actually pretty big - some of the stamp designs featured are around A6 size on their own, giving yiu an idea of scale.
She used a template from the talented Cal Summers. Kerry has used a few of Cal's beautiful templates and mini books before and I have always been amazingly impressed with how effective they are. And Kerry tells me they are super easy to make, too. So, I've sent myself a target to make one very soon!
If you would like to make a mini book using one of Cal's templates, join her facebook group Paper, Scissors, Story here:
I'm sure you'll agree, this is a perfect way to show off you Thirsty Brush papers, stamp designs and colouring skills, leaving you with a lovely thoughful gift for someone. That's if you can muster up the strength to actually give it away!

My aim for this for blog, is for it to be as interactive as possible. So, if there is a technique you would like to see or a Thirsty Brush design you would like me to feature, then get in touch! I’d love to help.
Join me tomorrow for Thirsty Thursday, our LIVE demo show at 3pm from the Stamps by Me Studio. You can catch up on previous live shows from me and the fabulous Toni Darroch from Stamps by Me here.
