Hi everyone! Hope you are all well and basking in the beautiful sunshine, inbetween work and family life of course!

This last week, we launched our first ever Facebook group challenge. Our Facebook group ‘Thirsty Brush Brushettes’ is a fantastic friendly group of TB fans and crafters, brimming with ideas and inspiration for card makers of all levels. So, we amped up the fun even more, to get you all involved! Each week a new theme will be announced. It’s so easy to enter, once you have made your challenge card, post a pic on the group with the hashtag #TBChallenge and I will pick a winner each week. It’s not about making the perfect technical card, its about trying new techniques, colour combos and pushing yourself!

This weeks winner if Gemma Read, who made a massive 4 cards using the Green & Gold theme! I was really impressed with her combination of techniques to create really unique layouts and composition. Well done Gemma! This weeks theme is monochrome - Black & White. So get involved! You have until 6pm Monday to enter over on Facebook.

For this weeks blog project, try out this really easy way to get that modern watercolour look without any of the painting skills. It gives an arty yet clean and simple look to your card making. And, it’s easily adaptable depending on which stamps you have in your stash. So, let’s get our craft on!

You can follow the instructions below and I have done a video tutorial for you, to see it step by step. Just click link underneath the ‘how to make’ section.

I have used the ‘Born Beautiful’ foxglove stamp & die set, but you can absolutely do this technique with another flower stamp if you have something in your stash that will work. Also, you can use

If you have a go at this or any of our other projects, I would love for you to share your beautiful makes with us on our facebook group. We’d all love to see what you get up to in your craft space!

See you then!
